£800,000 reached!

Thanks to all your efforts we have now raised £800,000. With £1 helping protect one hectare, this means we have helped conserve and plant 800,000 hectares of tropical forest. That’s the same size of Gwynedd and Powys combined!

We are also happy to announce that our forest project in Cameroon is now fully funded!

Fantastic fundraising efforts include: the supporters of Feed the Minds; students and staff at the Universities of Lampeter and Cardiff and Dulas Engineering , the cyclists, cake bakers and carbooters of Countryside Council for Wales. Llandovery and District Chamber of Commerce, Jude Lane running round Lake Vyrnwy for RSPB and the Community Foundation in Wales Funding Network.

Our Xmas Big Give raised an impressive £2394. Our lovely partners will also match that figure meaning 4788 hectares of rainforest can now be protected. New partners, clothing company, Toast gave Size of Wales forest projects 10% of one days sales and raised £4,497. This has been automatically doubled by Size of Wales’ match fund to £8,994.
